It's not like he brought up shrapnel! Was there someone else in the hall? Was there a wayward demon listening into their conversation? It's when Wylan notices the other boy's expression that he gets the idea of why they need to stop talking.
Oh.
Oh.
Heat creeps up into his cheeks, flushing before he gently shoves Jesper. "Jesper! Seriously?" He's really blushing now. "Now?!" He gestures to all of him.
"It's not my fault you're attractive when talking shop!" Jesper hisses back in a whisper. Honestly, Wylan had no idea the kind of sway he held, or how that all but doubled when he started in on some of his talk.
It was a problem. Okay, normally not a problem, but certainly in this moment it was.
Okay. So Jesper had a bit of a point. It was ridiculously attractive when he would start talking about how to shoot or when he showed off with his guns. He supposes he could understand where he was coming from. He rubs his face as he laughs lightly before he reaches for Jesper's hand again.
"Coffee." He nods in agreement before he takes a step closer and leans up to kiss him on the cheek. "Let's go get coffee."
