[The flowers were a nice touch. After all that they've been through, maybe this one holiday wasn't so bad! (Not that he knows what horrors await them if they drink wine with company from Hellburbia or what potentially waits for them in the club.) He gathers all the cards and tucks them away in the bedside table, wanting to keep them for as long as Hell allows. Once he's done this he slides off the bed and makes his way into the common room with the flowers.]
For a holiday we're not familiar with, you really went all out. [Wylan remarks as he grabs a tall glass to put the flowers in.] What made you decide to participate?
[He smiles softly as he puts the flowers in the make-shift vase and fills it with water.]
A little harmless fun--with the bonus of getting to do something for you.
[Honestly, it came down to the fact that the emotions that constantly bubbled over in his chest were always on the tip of his tongue as of late. And with all that Hell is and was and will be, Jesper wasn't sure if there would be a good time to say any of it.
So he absolutely took to a holiday that was all about grandiose displays of affection. If only so it would let him bite his tongue longer while he thought about saying anything.]
[He walks over to the table and sets the flowers down once he's satisfied they'd be well cared for. He wasn't even sure Hell flower even needed water (oh saints what if they needed blood?) but it's the thought that mattered. Wylan walks over to Jesper, stepping close as he reaches out to take his hand.]
So, it's a holiday, right? Did you want to try and do anything special? Or just spend the night in?
[Not that they could do much in the way of "special" but he's sure they could come up with something.]
Oh...? [The tone rings of amusement, but the look he gives Wylan--Wylan with his innocent face but devious smirk and devilish intentions--that look was all fire.]
[He just shakes his head, the smile never leaving his lips as he pushes Jesper back into the couch. It doesn't take much effort to shove him back on to it, and even less for him to crawl into his lap an wrap his arms around his neck.]
I better. [He chuckles, before he settles in Jesper's lap. He leans forward to capture his lips in a soft kiss.]
[The kiss is readily met, received, and answered. His hands settle at Wylan's waist as he pulls back, a pleased and self-satisfied grin firmly in place.]
Oh most definitely. I can offer reassurances though--if you need them. [The way he leans in close again, voice low, are only a suggestion of just what those reassurances might entail.]

Not that I'm complaining, mind you. I love them.

[Jesper isn't at all serious, his voice taking in a soft teasing lilt as he twines their fingers together.]
Ah yes, dear, shall we take a stroll by the boiling pools of blood? Quite romantic. I think...we can make due on our own here.
Unless you had some ideas?

[There's a pause, before a smirk plays on his lips as he steps closer.]
I can think of a few ideas... of what we could do to celebrate.
