There's a pause as he has to think about what Jesper is asking of him. It would be nice to go do something other than focus on these schematics. He taps his fingers against his chin, humming lightly. They could go to the theatre. Wylan's never been, and he has no idea what to expect, but it could be an interesting new experience for them. But there was also the option of just relaxing back in their room with a good book.
He did love it when Jesper read to him.
"Both sound appealing." He grins. "But you know how much I love it when you read to me."
Jesper sometimes thinks that Wylan knows just how cute he can be and purposefully plays it up to get to him. Like this whole humming and tapping his chin in thought thing--clearly a ploy. And he'd be a sucker for it every time regardless.
"I wouldn't mind coming back and reading something to you." He answers the grin he bore turning soft and fond. "We could even go by the kitchens and grab something to cook up here..."
It would be better than lingering in the kitchens, and they did have a small space to work with--even if it couldn't manage something elaborate.
Wylan really doesn't believe that he's that cute, but he's quite grateful for the compliments all the same. He smiles again, sitting up straight as he nods his head in agreement.
"That sounds like a great plan. We should probably find the book first so we're not just... carrying a bunch of food around in the library." He laughs lightly before he pushes back from the table to stand up.
"Sounds like you had this planned." He moves closer to him, leaning up to kiss his cheek. "It'll be nice to maybe relax here."
"You and I both know I am not the planning type." There are plenty of instances in their history that would prove that. Jesper is impulse personified on most days. "But...I may have considered the fact that you deserve a chance to relax."
He grins at the kiss to his cheek before taking the opportunity to steal a proper one--a quick peck, chaste by Jesper's usual standard. "Shall we?"
